The Recy Car is Biodegradable

"There was a scent of green power at the last Los Angeles Auto Show. The exhibition welcomed a vehicle design contest whose criteria was the environmentally sustainable design. The Recy roadster caught our attention among other entries. The car is marketed as “a fast, fun Mercedes-Benz for the ecologically minded consumer who demands a smart, elegant alternative to the traditional roadster.”

The look of the car is interesting, as it reminds us wooden yachts. But above those musings, the vehicle has interchangeable, fully recyclable body coverings, and uses wood, alloy, glass and rubber materials said to be 100% recyclable. The only drawback: The propulsion. The Recy car just relies on a BlueTec diesel engine.
